I am a designer. I am not a founder, principal, art director, or any type of ninja or rockstar.
I build interactive products collaboratively with start-ups, independent brands, and creative individuals. I am also a developer, illustrator, and photographer. I also occasionally write about design, its process, and technology.
I work on: small projects with real people, thoughtful products, and focussed experiences. I believe in simple, honest, universal design. I am not scared of the words ugly or weird. Of all the things I’ve been accused of, having bad taste is not one of them.
I’m a positive person, but not uncritical: I am not typically interested in projects driven by marketing campaigns or social media. I’m allergic to trends, skeptical about inspiration, and I can’t stand Dribbble.
Previously with Hard Candy Shell, where I worked on things like Of a Kind and everyone’s favorite, Cute Roulette. Sometimes with my extended creative family at Gin Lane. My work has been featured on SiteInspire, Refinery29, SwissMiss, and various other places. Member of N-Y-P-D. Friend of 157 Bowery.
