A good design is one that’s better than you think
My father's ‘first and only rule of design’. Have you ever been delighted to discover that something works better than you expected? Or been frustrated when you use something and it's as though the people who designed it never even tried it for themselves? So what's with the rubber band then? When I
services
My primary focus is on art direction, user experience and interface design, and digital product design.
I generally do not do logo design as independent projects. However, if you have a larger project that includes developing an identity system, please let me know.
I'm interested in taking on more projects that include photography, video, motion, product design, signage/wayfinding, publication design, apparel, and design strategy.

I live in New York and sometimes Barcelona, frequent Portland, and am from San Diego originally. I'm usually engaged in some combination of traveling, surfing, drinking coffee, listening to music, eating, making art, taking photos, reading, and designing something.
